Our car was nice and clean after wash, but not as thorough and sparkling as our usual Leigh Car Wash in Essex. Also our car received the water spray from the car being washed next to us without comments from washers and we had to leave the wash with a wet car !!!
I rate this one star as I have to leave something to be able to comment. Today they managed to pull the boot handle panel off of a Nissan Qashqi. They then went and got super glue from Tesco to try and glue it back on. Only succeeding in getting superglue all down the boot and bumper which they couldnt get off. Realising they couldnt fix it they gaffer taped the the panel back in place and told me to come back somewhen and they would polish the superglue out. I had been there two hours in sub zero temps whilst they tried to scour (with T cut) the super glue. I am not looking forward to seeing it in full daylight tomorrow. Although I didnt pay for the wash. I am left with a broken boot panel and glue covered car. I asked for the managers name for the guy to reply I am the manager. They then closed up and left. Leaving me to put my own car mats back in (ok thats no hardship but still Id kinda expect that to be part of the service )I also had to stop up the road and clean the inside of the windscreen as it was so smeared I couldnt see properly. Use at your own peril.
Service was standard, the charge a surprise, being told afterwards that my little Fiesta is a medium size car and therefore a quick three minute car wash costs 8. I was taken aback and not impressed, I am used to paying 5 for a hand wash as standard in the area, literally just half a mile down the road from Tesco. After querying the charge, I was brought from the on-site office a laminated A4 sheet that showed the categories of what is a small car, medium car, etc. That information needs to be with the prices clear for customers to see, not on a piece of paper in the office. The staff did a good job and it certainly wasn't their fault so I paid up but I won't be using this company again.
