I instructed this firm in relation to divorce proceedings. My case was handled professionally and speedily throughout. I was kept up to date on the progress of my case and felt reassured every step of the way. Highly recommend.
I dont know whether the other reviewers are genuine but I have to say these solicitors were a god send. They were fantastic and guided me through every stage of my divorce. I literally felt my worries drain away after I had my first consultation. The solicitor I instructed (Chris Taylor) is a matrimonial specialist and everything he said proved to be absolutely right. They wiped the floor with my Husbands solicitor in court! They also stuck to their cost estimate and I didnt even have to pay anything until I got my divorce settlement monies. The whole thing lasted only 6 months! Cant recommend highly enough. Even my ex is recommending them to his friends!!
Agree with the last reviewer - avoid like the plague. They charged me over 250 for a service I decided to cancel (within the '14 days cooling off period') due to being misinformed over the price. They took no responsibility for this. Was then told that the particular service I had 'does not a apply to a cooling off period" - this is not specified anywhere. They're are very keen in the beginning but once I cancelled they ignored every email and did not return my calls. They make their own rules up just to get money out of you. How they've been in business for so many years I will never know. I tell everyone I can about this dreadful solicitors. Have since gone with a different solicitors for my service who are wonderful.
I contacted this company due to a legal dispute and was quoted a price. The company sent one letter in response to the legal dispute and charged me for the letter. I believed this was all there was to it - job done. Apparently not, later I received a second invoice for more funds as the lettered response took them longer than predicted. Then to top it off, I receive ANOTHER invoice for ''Professional Services''. I queried this and was told that I, as the customer, am charged for emails sent to ME. I have never heard of a company who charges you, even a solicitor, for sending YOU, the customer, an email. Not only that but they don't tell you in detail about their charges and they certainly take no time explaining your invoice. I have since changed to another solicitor who quoted one price, and they have stuck to that one price. Not all solicitors are like this.Avoid like the plague.
