Birthday surprise for my husband. No complaints. Staff very attentive, especially Jay who was our breakfast waiter. Spa the best I have had both in UK and Europe. This was a Christmas present for myself and my husband. Spa treatment was excellent, really enjoyed the hot stone message. Was rather disappointed that the hot tub was out of order plus the steam room was also out of order. Room was clean and presentable,although the shower was cold, but I will say evening meal and breakfast were beautiful. Considering the price we paid I expected everything to be working.
Undeserving of its 5 star hotel rating. Pool was freezing cold, hot tub not working (though they did email and advise this), no hot water in room for day and a half, telephone in room not working, staff logged issues but did nothing about them. Only useful and helpful member of staff was Chloe on the night shift. Food is ok, but waiting an hour for pasta and sandwich to the room (they only have 20 rooms, so couldn't have been a rush). Overall pretty disappointing time in a tired and unloved looking "resort".

Fantastic place - 2nd visit for a special occasion and staff go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Very dog friendly although limited on rooms for them but the rooms they have are very spacious with private garden, absolutely amazing.Food again was exceptional with a variety of drinks to accompany your meal or have alone. Definitely worth a visit, cannot wait for our next one.
