Enjoyed a comfortable, relaxing few days here. Despite freezing weather conditions, we were given a warm welcome. Martin was an excellent host. Hoping to return next year.
Lovely B & B, quiet and comfortable with excellent breakfast; very friendly and helpful with the local area. Also, if you like birds there are well stocked feeders that are very popular with the local avian residents; there six cygnets on the nearby pond!

Had two stays at Shakeshaft now - both were lovely in spite of the rain! Beautiful gardens - at least from the windows as it was too wet to explore. Friendly and welcoming hosts, lovely breakfast after a good night in a very comfortable room with the birds in the trees being a great alarm clock. A real country retreat!
