A superb hotel in the heart of this lovely, friendly town. The welcome was great. Service was excellent. Check-in dead easy. My room was huge, immaculately clean and had everything I needed. I couldnt fault this place. Top marks.
I've stayed at the Spilman several times for work purposes and have always found it to be very good. Stayed here again last night in room 11, one of the executive double rooms. The room is well appointed and had perfectly adequate tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge and bottled water. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast this morning was outstanding and served by very cheery staff. Another fantastic stay at the Spilman - I will be back!
It's a great small local hotel. Nice clean room, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Make sure you watch their video on how to park your car is actually quite useful!
Excellent hotel, 3 night stay. Breakfasts were delicious. Staff very friendly, especially the male receptionist. Highly recommend and we will stay there again in the future.
